Judy Caplan has worked with afterschool programs for the past twelve
years. During the 2007-8 school year, Judy is working as a coach and self
assessment support team member for the Agenda for Children in Cambridge,
Massachusetts. In addition she is coaching eight sites in a United Way
funded pilot implementation of the Afterschool Program Assessment System
(APAS). Judy also serves as a staff person for the Massachusetts Special
Commission on Afterschool and Out of School Time. Judy has been a member
Of the 21st Century national training taskforce and has presented at many
national, state and local conferences.  She is co-author of Beyond the
BellR: A Toolkit for Creating Effective Afterschool Programs.
