The Center for Child Care Workforce is a nonprofit, research, education and advocacy organization committed to improving child care quality by upgrading the compensation, working conditions and training of child care teachers and family child care providers.
National Association of Child Care Professionals is the nation's leader among associations serving child care owners, directors, and administrators. The organization's goal is to improve, enhance and strengthen the credibility of the people who lead the child care industry by providing membership services and benefits.
The National Association of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies is
a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing the most
up-to-date and useful information to parents seeking childcare,
child care professionals, NACCRRA members, and child
care advocates.
National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC) works to provide technical assistance to family child care associations. This assistance is provided through developing leadership and professionalism, addressing issues of diversity, and by promoting quality and professionalism through NAFCC's Family Child Care Accreditation.
National Professional Resources, Inc. is
a major distributor of professional development materials
to support our nation's teachers in the field of education.
Its mission is to provide resources to ensure that learners
of all ages, with differing abilities and at risk, will reach
their maximum potential and will meet national, state and
local standards.
The
Next Generation Workforce Coalition evloved out of a
November 2004 Wingspread convening of youth development professionals
representing diverse sectors of the field who came together
to develop design ideas for a youth development workforce
system. This Coalition has emerged
as one important vehicle for continuing the conversation
that began at Wingspread. The Coalition's vision is of a
strong, valued youth work profession whose workforce is stable,
prepared, supported and valued.
