- Nearly 60 percent of American children do not have healthy cardiorespiratory fitness, a key measure of physical fitness and overall health, according to “Cardiorespiratory Fitness in Youth--An Important Marker of Health,” a new Scientific Statement from the American Heart Association.
- Salud America! is encouraging people to submit comments to support strong limits on added sugars and no sugary drinks for toddlers in a report that will help shape the U.S. Department of Agriculture and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' 2020-2025 Dietary Guidelines for Americans.
