The National AfterSchool Association's Annual Conference is March 20-23 in Orlando, Florida.

The National Anti-Hunger Policy Conference, co-sponsored by the Food Research and Action Center and Feeding America, is February 28-March 1 in Washington, D.C.

The Food Research and Action Center is holding two conference calls in March:

• Summer Meals Matter Conference Call, "Raise Awareness with Summer Kick-Off Events." Thursday, March 3, 2016, 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Summer kick-off events are an effective way to bring partners together and increase awareness of the Summer Nutrition Programs.
• Afterschool Meals Matter Conference Call, "Organizing Afterschool Meal Summits and Community Meetings to Increase Awareness." Thursday, March 17, 2016, 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Afterschool Meal summits and community meetings build momentum and awareness for the Afterschool Meal Program. Summits provide a platform for the afterschool community to share information and resources while garnering new ideas. Hear from summit organizers how they have planned a successful summit – from the agenda to invitation list to location.
