Judy Caplan has worked with afterschool programs for the past fourteen years. Currently, Judy is working as a coach and self assessment support team member for the Agenda for Children in Cambridge, Massachusetts. For the past four years, she has assisted a variety of sites working on program improvement by using self-assessment tools and observation protocols. Judy also served as a staff person for the Massachusetts Special Commission on Afterschool and Out of School Time. She has been a member of the 21st Century national training taskforce and has presented at many national, state and local conferences. She is co-author of Beyond the Bell: A Toolkit for Creating Effective Afterschool Programs.
